After playing SNES9x so much and having slight problems playing some games on it namely sound issues and some fps hiccups, is there a better snes emulator for the wii?

Correct me if I am wrong but there is no way to play starfox (snes) on the wii through emulation?

Snes9x Next within Retroarch is best because it includes speed optimisations. It actually runs Yoshi's Island with no frame drops (unlike Snes9x GX).

I never had that sound problem, although I use pretty much 1.0.0.2 all the time I want to play this system, maybe that's something on newer versions...?

If you want to play Star Fox, Retroarch is even better because you can overclock the game if you want.
