GCN Is the DVD Reader Module interchangeable?

Hello, I have a dol-001 (the one with component output)
Aswell as another one without.
Both modded with XenoGC, but on the 001 I have to tweak the pot almost about 20 ish ohms.
Retail games work fine even at about 250-300 ohm.

I wondered if it is possible to switch the cd tray from one to another.

The drive assembly is interchangeable between all GameCube models (bar the Q obviously) so you shouldn’t have any problems.

Hello.

I can 100% confirm it.I would have 4 different (white 101/purple 001/2 blacks 001).
All drives could be interchanged and worked.

I too can confirm that they are swappable. In fact my DP has a swapped drive inside of it. Its not hard at all either. May I ask why you are wanting to swap it though?
if its drive failure I suggest adjusting POT and cleaning lens first.
