Majora's Mask's Skull Kid and the Norse God Loki have some interesting similarities.

Loki is one of the Norse Gods, a trickster who made some mistakes, fell into the darkness and he and his children are prophesied to be part of Ragnorok (the Norse calamity).

Skull Kid is a friend of the four giants, a trickster who made some mistakes, got possessed by Majora's Mask and tried to crash the moon into the land of Termina.

Or maybe their parallels are just a coincidence.
