Guestimating, but I think it wouldn't cost more than $1600. If course, that also depends on what motherboard, PSU and case it came with.

Although you can get a Core i7 930 with a HD5970, 6GB of RAM, 1TB HDD in an Antec 1200 case for just over $1500. Doesn't include a monitor though, but I'd say that machine is more overkill.
