    Hi i was wondering if its possilbe to play ps3 save games that u download from the internet like gamefaqs or some other website? If so how do u convert them to ur ps3 cause i tryed some and it says that i cant use them cause its a different user name. Is it possible to do it without the user name??

    I don't know how to convert them, but I know you can transport them, I do when I play games at friends' houses, I put my saves(that aren't copy-protected) on my usb.

    If they are in native PS3 format it should be as simple as copy and play, however some games are protected. Demon's Souls being a fine example of this, it wont even let you copy the data off of the original HDD. Some games also have it set up to where you can copy the data, but you need to sign in using your PSN account and an Account with the same name on that PS3 (I.E. my PS3 account name is Light but my PSN is CrashmanX, so if I go somewhere else I'd have to make a Light account and login to my PSN).
