Hacking Is it possible to play PS2 backups on a jailbroken PS3?

If your ps3 is BC and you have swapmagic than yes you can.

I have Swap magic..how in the world would this work? I mean the ps3 isnt a flip top ps2 so how would you trick the system?

Slim PS3's do not support PS2.

You would use the swapmagic to start uelf and use one of the usb loaders. Just look it up on youtube.

Where would one get swapmagic now?

I'm sitting on a ton of burned PS2 games currently, and well... I want to play them on my 60gig model because of the improved/cleaner graphics playing them that way. It simply looks better on this TV to play PS2 games on the PS3, than the actual PS2. And that's even if I have the ps3 and ps2 using the same exact component video cables to play the game.
