Campaigners against a controversial new immigration law in the US state of Arizona have adopted a popular children's cartoon character as a symbol of their cause.
Wait..people..or..adults..watch the show, or something? Or are they just picking out Dora with only the knowledge of she's part of a kid show and teaches bits of Spanish? Using cartoon characters should only be for fun. If it's against, this cartoon character might end up having an opposite effect. I mean, what if it leads to more people for instead of against?
I don't want MegaMan representing Japan, Mario representing Italy, and Ken(SF) representing America. Only if it was some random comic strip or game or spinoff show, or a parody on the Simpsons. Granted, I could care less for Dora, it's just that cartoons are for fun, not for politics. It's like music, sports, and any other type of recreational activity. It's basically... "keep your crap out of my yard", "stay out of my territory", "this is my turf", etc.
