I played the game on Wii U, I heard it had extra levels compared to the wii u version.

yep, lots of fun. There is extra content that comes with some of the updates on the switch.

Depends on how much you like the Wii U game. The game runs at a higher resolution on the Switch and has a few new levels but cuts a few old ones out. It plays better in handheld mode because using the JoyCons as pointers doesn't work so well.
