on the release page at github, it says that it doesn't actually do anything to the switch's data unlike the other incognito. does that means that if i want to go online again, all i have to is change 1, back to 1 in exosphere.ini?

Don't do that, you'll get banned. The entire point of Incognito is so that you can't go online and expose your CFW activities.
Atmosphere Incognito also doesn't apply when you boot into OFW, so don't load CFW from sysNAND, always use emuNAND, in order to keep your sysNAND clean for OFW.

emunand wasn't a thing when i got my switch so i've always been on sysnand.

unless you have a way to completely clean my ofw/sysnand, setting up emunand is a waste of space and time for me

Unless you have a clean NAND backup, then you can't go online, unless you want to be banned.

ok but do answer the question

I already answered. You'll get banned.
If you hacked your Switch before emuNAND that likely means you also hacked your Switch before creport was a thing so all your old CFW activities are in the log files and will be immediately sent to Nintendo when you go online.
That guarantees pretty much an instant ban (within minutes/hours)
So no, you can't go online.

I used haku33 to clean my sysnand and setted up emunand almost an year ago. No ban so far. I've never been online without 90DNS before.

is there any way to get a backup of all my saves before i use haku to wipe it?
