Do take note that the Wii has missed a huge amount of multi-plat games that have been released on the PS3/360 (and possibly for the PC). The chart is accurate in the fact that the Wii does have exclusive games, but it does miss the other games because of the limited capabilities of the Wii hardware.
Personally I've got a PS3 and a Wii from this gen consoles (total list in signature), but mostly spend my time with the PS3 (actually Netflix most of the time nowadays since I don't have enough time ATM for the longer games :/).
As said about hackability, easy for 3.55 or lower. Close to impossible/ver hard for 3.56+
ps. The list posted by suppow doesn't include newer games. Check metacritic.com for games that you want to play and then decide if YOU want to buy a ps3. I've had it for about 2 years as my own console and in total about 3.5 years as my brother had the console before me when he was my roommate.
yeah, the image - which i found (i didnt make it) - is only (and it says so) for exclusives, and it's kinda outdated.
but for me the deciding factor in consoles has been the exclusives,
multiplatform games i'm just fine playing on PC.
personally, for this gen, i really looked into it at first and conidered all consoles to be sure,
and i ended up getting a wii and a 360, the 360 i barely ever play, i mostly play the wii, or handhelds (gba or ds), everything else on steam.
i considered ps3 vs 360, but went for 360 in the end, mostly couse ms has rare just in case lol.
two things i really like about the ps3 though are the free PSN online play,
and the online store, kinda like steam.
those two are great, the games i dont like so much =/
edit:
as for the wii missing on most non-exclusives, i think that applies to all of nintendo history lol
