Hacking Irisman Help to configure fan control.

Hey guys. When I configured the control fan with my temperatures and speeds with irisman, it only works when I am inside the cfw but when I am playing any game the fan speed does not change, for example I play for an hour the temperature is at 66 and the fan should be at 6F, only when I go back to the irisman the fan accelerates.

How do I configure it so that while I'm playing if the temperature rises the fan will also accelerate

Ps: I am using a translator sorry for the spelling.

I cannot help you with irisman, but I recommend sman it is easy to configure the fan and it works all the time, and not only that but you can have your iso games on the xmb (main menu) without having to go into a different loader like irisman to play them.

Hi, you can also use webMan, it will manage the fan in-game too, even if you do not start the game from it.

a temp of 66 is good for cpu or rsx especially if you're playing a game. most people only get those temps while on the xmb. are you sure it's not working?

Hey, I tried to install Webman but it seems that I need multiman also when installing multiman it gave me an error that I need Cobra to work and Webman is not pkg that I can install and no tutorial that I see explains how to do it.

You don't need multiMan to use webMan, and webMan pkg is available on GitHub:

Thanks for answering me and if you can help me because when I wanted to install Webman mod the full installation "in the options it says to keep L1 pressed for full installation" it is not installed, only the lite version and where there should be the Webman options there are only empty folders. I suppose it is due to the jailbreak method.

I also saw videos where they installed Webman to make sure it was doing everything right, I just don't know what I could be doing wrong.

My console is V.4.70 and I don't know what jailbreak method was used, I bought it already with irisman installed.

1-Download sman.sprx and copy it to the root a pendrive.
2-Create a text file in Notepad named boot_plugins.txt, type or copy/paste the following text and save it to the root of the pendrive too:

3-Connect the pendrive to USB0 (or any other port of the PS3), start multiMAN (or even can use Webman's file manager), go to file manager and copy both files to the root folder of /dev_hdd0 of the PS3
4-Reboot and it will be on your XMB

If you are on Rebug 4.81.x or lower, you should go to Rebug Toolbox and disable webMAN.

You can add other plugins to boot_plugins.txt, except any version of webman or webman mod (webftp_server.sprx).

Hey, when I installed multiman it gave me an error about not having Cobra, and Rebug 4.81 I don't have it either, sorry but the console bought it like this and I have been playing for some years and only now notice that the temperatures came to sometimes go up to 77c, change the thermal paste and improve a little but I wanted to see if I can put control of dynamic fans.

Since I never had problems, I did not worry about seeing what type of jailbreak i had or improvedthe cfw, I only copied the games to the console and played and increased the speed of the fans when it was hot.

You're using an old CFW, you should try to update it to a 4.85 CFW or a 4.86 CFW, pick Ferrox or Rebug, both works fine
