Apple iPhone IOS 4.0 Jailbreak deleted MMS option?

Yesterday I updated my iphone 3G to IOS 4.0 since I saw that there was already a jailbreak for it.(supposedly unlock too but im not sure?)
so first I updated it and everything was fine. then I jailbroke it and noticed while texting that the mini camera icon on the left side is gone?
it was there before I jailbreak it.
is it the firmware I'm using? I tried two different links but it has the same problem...

Did you use redsn0w? just download the newest version and run it on your phone again, just dont install cydia again
