Hacking IOS Downgrader Will Not Launch

Hey all,
I am following DJTaz's guide to downgrade the Wii from 3.4E to 3.2E and have gotten to step 11 (http://www.iol.ie/~taz/wii/WiiHowToGamma.html).

When I load IOS Downgrader the screen goes black and nothing happens, no errors, no nothing?? I need to hard reset the Wii to get back to the system menu. I have tried to uninstall cios_fix.wad and re-install again using Custom VM but no joy, IOS Downgrader does not seem to want to load.....

I think by accident in step 10 at the start I tried to install cios_fix.wad using WAD manager and it failed, would this have messed it up? I have tried to run cIOS downgrader first but it fails. Wii is still working OK and playing original games.

9. Load 6. Wad Manager in Homebrew Channel and install IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad
10. Load A. Custom WM in Homebrew Channel and install cios_fix.wad
11. Load B. IOS Downgrader in Homebrew Channel. Just follow any prompts until it tells you it is complete.
12. Load C. cIOS Downgrader in Homebrew channel MAKING SURE you PICK YOUR CORRECT REGION
3.2U = USA/Canada, 3.2E = Europe, 3.2J = Japan ... you should then be on version 3.2 once completed

I tried that but it still comes up with the black screen, just seems to hang

Do you have any gamecube accessories attached? disconect all GC Mem cards and controllers then try. Otherwise just use the Anyregion changer MOD 5 app to downgrade to 3.2. Either one will get you there.

And no GC hardware in?

Hi guys,
I changed SD card and it then worked. I was able to get the IOS downgrader to run. It installed them all but I think it gave an error installing IOS 12?? Is this OK?

I ran the cIOS Downgrader, selected 3.2E and it failed with this message

"Cleaning IOS Downloads, please wait.....
>>Deleting "/tmp/0000001e"..OK

Firmware installation FAILED!
Press any button to continue..."

Any ideas?
