Homebrew Interested in Wii U hacking, got a question

Hey there,

I sold my launch Wiii U in 2014 when I got pissed after discovering that save data was linked to your local Wii U profile, meaning that backing up save data to a hard drive was pointless because transferring a a new Wii U would be impossible.

Now that true Wii U hacking is possible, let me ask, is it possible to back-up an entire local profile so that if I were to transfer to another Wii U, that the save data would still be usable?

Not %100 sure but I think you can use Saviine to transfer your saves to your SD and transfer it to a new console. But I haven't heard of backing up an entire local profile.

Save data is tied to your local Wii U account, so unless this program you speak of is able to decrypt save data and make them possible for a new local profile, I doubt it can do it.
