Hacking Installing two copies of the same CIA

Haven't found anything searching.
I want to install two versions of the same game, one is the original and the other one is modded. Do I change the title ID? Any risks? How do I do so? Thanks.

Normally yes, but it also depends on the game itself. Some games refuse to run with a changed title ID (Pokemon AS/OR for example) and the reason most people opt for LayeredFS to run rom hacks.

There's honestly no reason to do that. If you need multiple save files, use JKSM. If you need to run a mod, use LayeredFS with Luma3DS or NTR, whichever works.
