Hacking Installing smashhax with a wireless usb adapter?

Hello.
I wanted to install smashhax on 11.0.0.33 and I read that I need a Wi-fi capable wireless card. Does it work with a wi-fi usb adapter (so no build in wifi card)? I dont have a notebook and in general im using LAN to connect to my internet.
