i have the original copy of f-zero x at home, but its quite blurry on the good ol' n64 so if im thinking of downloading the f-zero x wad (eu). I don't want to buy it again.
So are the any risks if i do this. Like:
- getting banned from shop channel
- no more nintendo wifi (banned)
- loose rights to play already purchased games
- etc?

P.S. wii v4.0e trucha patched with dvdx

P.P.S. i always buy the games i play. but i dont pay twice.

well people are getting banned for cheating...

thanks guys! it would have been stupid anyway to ban me from the shop channel. i cant wait for cave story to be released. next game i buy

i finally installed f-zero x and super mario allstars...
though i cant play them:
f-zero x: german error message: Du kannst diesen Kanal nicht nutzen (You cannot use this channel)
sma: black screen

i used the wad manager 1.4 for install.

seems like im stuck on my snes and n64 for now... damn. solutions?

it didnt state pal, ntsc or language anywhere... i guess i have the ntsc version

man i cant find any pal f-zero x wads... so is there a way to modify the wad to make it region free? or how do i inject a rom(+modifying the channel)?

thanks ill check it out later(i have guests)!

though i noticed when i uninstalled the sm allstars channel that it wasn't named correctly there(injected?). is there a way to change the channel "header" data. like the title, the game screenshot, etc?

EDIT:
it works now. more or less: running at 50fps instead of 60fps + garbled sound even though i selected 60hz. cant find a pal f-zero x wad... guess im stuck on my n64.
sma with the black screen still doesnt work. and even but if it did... see above.

Don't think there is any danger in getting banned for that.
I been using HBC for a long time and il bet my Wii has reported back to Nintendo when i have accessed Nintendo Channel and i don't think my Wii is banned.
[Thats just an example to point out that Nintendo really dont give a crap on what we use our Wii too.
