Hacking Installing DLC onto haxchi (not coldboot)

Hi,

I'm pretty new to Wii U scene, and have picked up a lot of useful info. from this site

I now have a working console running haxchi with a few games running from USB

I want to install dlc for Mario Kart 8.

Is it 'safe' to use the eshop with cfw or, as the haxchi is not coldboot, can i use eshop using stock fw to install dlc, and will it still work once haxchi is running ?

It is safe. If you buy dlc it will work. If you are a little more advanced check out tutorials forum - you can buy one piece of legit dlc, custom install the rest and flip the tickets to get all dlc without needing to start haxchi every time.

There are tutorials to do it and it does work if done properly (done it myself).

I got a download of the dlc but no sign of tic anywhere.

So once I have one legit dlc I can use the same tic ?or is it more complex?

From eshop either download legit dlc for free or paid. Then use funkiiu or other method to install the rest.

The complete free method is just to install it all using fake tik but then you have to run haxchi each time unless you have cbhc. I prefer the tik flip method because i dont use cbhc (and never will) and i dont have to run haxchi either. But if you dont mind running haxchi, just install dlc with fake tik and you dont need to mess about with the tiks in the system.

I have a legit copy of Mario Kart 8 that came installed with my Wii U. I downloaded the DLC but when I install it's not coming up. How can I get to be recognized? I noticed it does not have a tik file inside.
