Hey,
I had 3.90 m33-3 dark alex, than I was googling now, found a site where it said 3.93 dark alex, installed it and turned out its sony firmware...

Now it doesnt recognize PSP backups, and it doesnt let me install any other custom firmware.
Btw, I got PSP phat white.
Do I have to get the pandora battery and all these again?

Meh, anywayz,
yah found out that I need the battery again.
Too bad...
At least I can get a cheap one from DX hehe.

Indeed you can. Mine's arriving on monday

Can't wait to upgrade my PSP.

I wouldn't get that bundle if I was you, DX is notorious for fake MSProDuo's if you look around here in some posts.

Hmm seems that I'll need to buy a TOOL battery anyway, for the just in case times. Although I won't let children touch it for fear of dumbassery.

I got the MS + Pandora bundle and im not fully satisfied with the Memory stick.. Even if it says HIGH SPEED, its still very slow.. At least the item i received is. Maybe it will be different for you guys.

I recommend buying a Sony 4gb MSPD Mark 2. A lot faster than the one in Dealextreme..

altorn is just the example that Pyrofyr could hope for: a testimony to the fraudity of DX MSs.

I went with SanDisk Ultra2 4GB (directly from Amazon, not one of it's peer sellers) and I've been happy with it (after receiving a fake 4GB SanDisk that was blue - crashed within 6 minutes of any game, and semi-bricked afterward). Always check to see what the feedback is before buying a card.

I woudnt really care about the speed. I already have few other M2-Pros. Since the price is so cheap, so why not simply buy the bundle?

Some of them may just not work at all, hence it's highly suggested that you do not buy their MSProDuo cards at all.

Best Buy stores seem to be having a sale for 2GB cards for 25 bucks (Been on this 'sale' for months, so I doubt it'll end soon ;])

I bought a Sandisk 2gb MSPD from Bestbuy too (my very first MSPD for my PSP)... Fail..
I couldnt make a magic memory stick from it... And, when i try using a Card reader, and safely remove it via the PC, the name says RICOH.. :/

So i usually buy from stores, i mean directly from the seller, so i can scrutinize the look of the packaging, etc..

Well, the ones from DX are cheap, you will think you'll save some moneyz, but afterwards, after its faults, you may have to buy another one... Im an adult user and responsible in handling my gadgets, though sometimes i make mistakes. But i can really tell the bundled MSPDs are not so genuine.

Yah, alot of people seems to have that prob. Well I got few MSPDs but I am only sure about one which is 100% original, Lexar which I bought from PC World for camera.
