Yeah, another thread as I'm experimenting with new stuff again
Thus far, I've been using a pair of Bluetooth headphones (Shokz OpenMove), and as expected, there was a ton of latency. So, I experimented with a pair of generic wired headphones (YF-1267 3.5mm).
The problem is that I found the inline controls (volume up/down and play/pause) to be inoperable. Pressing the buttons did nothing at all.
Meanwhile, this does work on Bluetooth headphones.
Given that it looks like there are multiple ways button signaling is done on wired headphones, can you tell me if this works on your headphones? If you have any idea what I'm talking about, please share some specifics too.
Also, pro tip: if you don't mind converting music to MP3, FTP + Media Importer is a solid alternative to QCMA. It's fast!
