so I guess I'm one of the few who bricked their system using sysupdater. I have no idea what went wrong. there were no errors aside from the freeze that occurred when it was going to restart the system. I have no idea how to repair a bricked 3ds. I also don't have a backup of the nand. is there anything I can do? thank u

your only option is update with recovery. can be accessed when turning on the Nintendo 3DS while holding A+R+L+Up(DPad). and bye bye for downgrade :(

try taking out the sd card and rebooting your 3ds. also have you verify that you are using the right downgrade files?

taking out the sd card also didn't work. my main concern is whether this is fixable whether I have to pay someone to do it or not.

I figured out what went wrong. I accidentally used the new 3ds cia files. I don't know what to do now.

Without a NAND backup, there's really nothing left to do but to replace the motherboard, or sell it for parts.

If you have installed CFW before updating and you still have all your files on SD card, do not delete them. You can extract emunand backup which can be flashed over hard mod. This is your only way to unbrick your console. If you don't have sysnand nor emunand backup, then there's no way to restore your device at this point unfortunately...
