... when would it be likely to ship?

I'm not sure if they'll have enough stock on the 18th or whether there will be a big backlog of orders.

I'm in the UK and I'd like to get my hands on one of these before the beginning of June if possible (to take on holiday). I'm happy to pay for DHL or UPS shipping as it will still be cheaper than buying in the UK.

OP: I'll let you know since I've ordered one from Shoptemp

12th May: Placed in order @ ~10pm, but want to pay via paypal so sent a Customer Support ticket for info
13th May: (6:30am) Got reply from Customer support - followed instructions & paid for it by 6:40am
14th May: (6:40am) Got payment Confirmation and my Order Status has changed to 'Pre-order' (they had sent Payment Confirmation @ ~2.17am same day)
15th May : Status is still 'Pre-order', & I guess it still will be until official release date

FYI - I've opted for the 'standard delivery' so even IF they ship it out on the 18th - I won't get it for 1-3 weeks (possibly) - but at least I'll be able to tell you when they actually ship it

However, I'm not sure how much stock they receive then... so possibly not :/

I know that there are preorders (like myself) who haven't had their stuff sent out yet, so I'm kind of hoping they take care of us first.

Yeah, I hope that too. It'd be pretty bad for them if they did other orders first, before the early preorders.

I think I read somewhere that the first 100 who preordered will be dealt with before the offical release date - while all others are likely to be filled out on/after the release date (I'm not expecting my status to change until on or after the 18th May)

today is the 3rd day...... yet i didn't receive any tracking number
so, hopefully they will give you the RIGHT TRACKING NUMBER

so you know where the item is and when to expect it
when they say it is shipped on 13th

didn't expect an item to take more than 1.5 days to be processed
speechless
but as expected.. the latest i should get the item is not later than monday

As for tracking an item, you have to wait 2-3 days for it to go through the system.

It's nothing to do with ShopTemp, it is down to the carriers, at least all is well now

i guess they should really use a better runner/carriers on this...

Well, DX used to have (and still has but not for flashcarts anymore) 2 weeks shipping, it al depends on how big the shop is and how many items they have to ship to different countries/addresses/...
