Hey all. I’ve recently picked up a obscure Wii Accessory known as Ubisoft’s Hercules Webcam (WC04): This accessory is said to be a motion tracking camera for a couple of Ubisoft titles (Your Shape, Fit In Six, and Racquet Sports from what I found), and also serves as a standard computer webcam. I’m curious if it’s possible to get this webcam to run on homebrew software? For instance, a simple app that captures the webcam’s live feed? Please let me know if this is possible. If you’re curious on how to get one yourself, it’s relatively cheap to purchase on eBay. Thank you.

Hacking If I fail a Firmware Update....

I'm about to run a PAL copy of that DK racing game on my PAL wii, to update my firmware so I can get Half Brawl working. However, there is a VERY small scratch on the DVD, and there's always the small chance that the update will fail if the firmware data happens to be on the scratched part.

If the update fails, is my Wii bricked?

Well i highly doubt the scartch well mess up the update. But make sure you wii is fully updated. And to be 100% safe use BrickBlocker if your not certain.
