It's over. We survived - the 21st came and went.

No zombie apocalypse, no giant tidal waves, no asteroids hitting Earth, no nothing...

    I TOLD YOU SO!!

So you did. So did everyone else. In fact, I haven't seen or heard a single person that actually, genuinely believed that December 21st would be the actual end of the world.

I don't know about you, but everything looks pretty post-apocalyptic over here.

Then again, I do live in New Jersey...

I don't know about you, but zombie elk stalk the countryside.

Edited because the plural of "elk" is still "elk".

"What is a drop of rain, compared to the storm? What is a thought, compared to the mind? Our unity is full of wonder which your tiny individualism cannot even conceive. (...) Do you not trust the feelings of the flesh? Our biology yearns to join with yours. (...) We welcome you to our mass. (...) We are Many, and you are One. The individual is obsolete. (...) How can you hope to prevail againts us? "

As you recall, I even went forward to December 21st and reported back in February, relative time.

The main issue now is the fight between the Shapers and the Resistance.

Congrats. Do you want a award for knowing the obvious?
Are you honestly going to be proud of surviving what a group of dumbasses thought of what an ancient group of dumbasses' calendar meant? You really feel special for surviving some bogus shit doomsday scheme that people make up every single year?

What makes one group of idiot's claim more special than another's? Should we pat ourselves on the back every year we survive then?

I'm pretty sure we do that already. That's why we get giant balls to teabag buildings at midnight.

Funny, but it's more for a false idea of having a new start/clean plate just because a made up variable goes up 1 digit. I think birthdays are what people use to say "Hey, I'm still alive 1 more year!".

There are so many variations that you've omitted in that list.
