Hardware i think this wii just died

somone was looking for a disk and i said it may be in the wii and the is plugged in to a working outlet and there is no light so im thinking ethier the brick converter or the wiii itself died im having troubel telling between the two any ideas to check which one it is

let me ask again
do you have a multimeter?
ask your dad, your friendly neighboor, your uncle... etc, if they know how to use one, and test the ac dc adapter...
or get the adapter in a pc repair shop, component store or something and ask them if they can check it if it works... they surely have a multimeter which can quickly tell you if the ac\dc adapter is working or not

Before doing anything else, unplug the adapter from both the Wii and the wall for 5 minutes, then plug it back in. My Wii did the same thing after a power outage but unplugging the adapter for a bit fixed it.
