I've been driving for 2 years and in that time, I encountered moments of stupidity from other drivers but I let it slide because I realise that I was like that at some point or another. Then today, I was behind a car at a traffic light and when it turns green, and it moves an inch... and stops. Cue me honking the horn until suddenly I see someone opening the door and at that point, I thought, "aw crap. I'm gonna get my window smashed in now" but somehow got persuaded by someone in the car to get back in.

Surely this is just a phase? I'd hate to think how much worse it can be.

In what manner did you honk your horn? You know it's supposed to be used as a notice device and not a substitute for you yelling

Twice in a row at first.

Then 5 seconds later, a quick beep which was what pushed him/her (it was really dark)

Meh , I would of honked as well. Can't move in a timely fashion , then get off the road. Probably faffing about on a mobile or something.

Well, not necessarily, there is a reason that the horn is built. It helps the other drivers to stay alert.

It might not be in your country, but it is in England.

The thing was, the traffic lights was located at the top of a fairly steep hill so if you stall, you'd roll backwards. If that car stalled, it would've rolled into my car so I still would've beeped anyways

It wouldnt roll backwards because to stall the car has to be in gear which will prevent it from rolling backwards, and with it being on a hill makes it more likely that it was a stall.

Meh. I'm an asshole. But even when you stall, you can stop and start it up quickly and still have time to go through a green light. The car didn't even have an L plate or a P plate.

I think it was the other driver who had road rage, not you. I mean, you just simply honked twice in a row (which is what most drivers do when they honk), then did a quick one five seconds later. If the other driver got out of his car to beat you up just for honking, then I think he's the one with the anger problem.

But if you were honking like a madman and yelling profanities out an opened window, then that's another story...

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
