Hacking I really need help, i'm too stupid

I already looked at the official package, there isn't the source or a link to it.

I looked at http://www.usbgecko.com/files/source.rar, which i found at WiiBrew, but this contains this code:

write_font(185, 298, "Game ID:");
write_font(325,298, gameidbuffer);
sleep(1);
while(1);

and i doubt this is part of the official release.

I tried this link:

which i found with Google and i tried the link to the forum:

which i found in the official package, but both redirect me at:

which should be the official homepage, but i didn't find a link to the source there.



Since Gecko OS is licensed under GPL, i assume, i'm overseeing something as it would mean otherwise the Gecko OS team violates its own license, which i seriously doubt.

I finally managed to get a working (!) Gecko OS compiled.

You need to follow the steps decribed here:

and if you don't want to modify the rvl.ld in your DevKitPPC folder, you need to copy it to your source folder(same folder as makefile) and change this:
LDFLAGS = -g $(MACHDEP) -Wl,-Map,$(notdir $@).map
into this:
LDFLAGS = -g $(MACHDEP) -Wl,-Map,$(notdir $@).map -T../rvl.ld
