I successfully installed the homebrew channel. Then I tried launching the homebrew browser app to download some emulators. During the launch, the screen said an enception (DSI) error occurred. And it just stayed there. I couldn't turn the system off. Even after holding down the power button. So I unplugged it. Now when I turn it back on, I get a message on the gamepad saying that it cannot connect to the Wii U console and to turn it off, move closer to it and turn it back on. I've been doing that but it still won't connect. Also there's nothing on the tv screen when this happens. Just a black screen. What do I do? I hope it's not bricked.

Thank you. One more thing. Does USB loader GX only work with hard drives? I don't have one yet. Just an SD card.

Edit - nevermind. I just found out it does only work for hard drives. So I'll have to use one of the other two loaders instead.

from what I hear it does, do you have a USB flash? you will have better loading with that temporarily. check out walmart or target for a cheap 500gig HDD or look for a USB to SATA adapter and find a cheap hard drive from an old computer. works wonders!

EDIT: actually it doesnt, I believe it was configurable usb loader that loaded SD. sorry for misinformation.

EDIT: honestly I've lost my train of thought on the difference in either....lol

USB Loader GX works for pen drivers and hard drives, any USB storage works.
