Hi,

I have given my son a Acekard, and when he plays his Mp3's, it has an i-pod looking interface. It looks really good, but I have no idea of how it got on there.

I have bought loads of Acekards for friends, and would like it on theirs too, but it doesn't show.
Can someone explain how I change theirs?

its a homebrew program that you have to download and put on the microsd card, it called Licks Media Player

I have never downloaded that.

QUOTE(darkangel5000 @ Dec 23 2008, 02:07 AM) Have you installed AKAIO on your son's ak2? Well then: The ipod-look-a-like MP3-Player is built in in that firmware. But you can get it as standalone homebrew too - it is called LMP-ng.

Maybe I downloaded the AKAIO by mistake.
Thank you both for your replies, as it has been puzzling me for weeks.

I will replace my friends firmware with this one from now on.

The official 4.12 Acekard firmware also has the ipod like plugin... get them to upgrade their cards to 4.12 from http://www.acekard.com and they should get it.

QUOTE(lee1978 @ Dec 23 2008, 09:39 PM) Yeah, its been on the official firmware since they merged it with bliss's firmware.

If anybody wants some skins for LMP, check out this site i found.

Thanks.

This must be why it is on my son's card, as I update his firmware regularly.
I now use the AKAIO firmware, but know I definitely never put it on his card, so couldn't understand how the "I-pod" thingy was there.
