Homebrew I needz help

I'm stuck! When I download a CIA file, the file has all of its contents but when I extracted it it has nothing. Help please?

You install CIA files through CIA installers like FBI and BBM. I don't know what you're talking about when you extract a CIA. If you mean that you downloaded a zip file that had a CIA inside and when you extract it you get nothing, download it from a different site or something.

Sorry, I didn't make it clear. Not good with words lol. But yeah that's the problem I'm having. I've tried multiple sites.

sounds like you aren't entering a required password when extracting files

Could you try extracting to different locations? Maybe right click it and use "extract here". Go inside it, right click, and press "Copy To"?

There's isn't a option for a password.

Try using winrar and the best place to get it is from "that I so site" http://bfy.tw/3Xqo first result in that link although you need an account in the site just quickly sign up

Why's it in a folder called RAR Opener? The size over on the right is 0kb, but I think it does that normally sometimes. My advice would be to download it again and to make sure you get a zip file. If you don't have it, get 7zip.

That's they type of opener I use. I've used it in the past and it works fine.

Normally I'd agree, but 7zip still doesn't have proper RAR5 or comment support. Uploaders (like @Asia81) put their passwords inside RAR comments.

Get a better one. It probably doesn't stay up to date with the archive standards.

Have you ever used RAR Opener for this purpose? It may be exactly what's causing your problems.
