My wii remote is not turning on when im using Gecko OS, please help

Is it one of the newer Wiimotes? IIRC they're typically wiimotionplus.

The newer ones are incompatible with older homebrew, so you'll need to either update or use an older remote/controller.

Can you give us the version info for your homebrew? I've had WiiMotionPlus remotes work with HBC, so I'm sure we can get you up and running.

The homebrew channel works with the new wiimotes but Gecko OS doesn't. I think someone made a version of Gecko OS that is compatible with the new wiimotes, I'll try to find it for you

I found it on github, but there's no pre-compiled version: https://github.com/MP2E/Gecko-OS for some reason my devkitpro can't compile it. I think the best thing to do is just get a normal wiimote - there are many homebrew applications that don't work with wiimotion plus that you'll probably want at some point e.g. riivolution
