once i lent my 3ds to my little brother and he returned it to me with this error

error type: generic

error code: 0x000000ce
press eny buttom to reboot ...

the problem is that I press a button, turn off, turn on the console and stuff, and no matter what I do, it just stays on a black screen with that error ... any idea how to fix it?

What exactly is the stuff you do before this shows up? And does your brother remember what was done when this started happening?
