Apple i need help jailbreaking iphone 4.2.1 3gs

okey so i tried to jailbreak my iphone 3gs old bootrom 4.2.1 w/ redsnow 0.9.6b4 it always stop at uploading ramdisc so ANY HELP

Have you tried a DFU restore to 4.2.1, then jailbreaking?

I used to have this problem.

Try using different versions of redsn0w. If it still doesn't work try to get to an XP machine and use it too jailbreak.

If all else fails backup with itunes and RESTORE.

I had the exact same problem, you didn't set xp compatibility mode.

Back up your iPhone, then downgrade and restore to your new backup. then you jailbreak.
