The component cables do not need to be first party. They can plug into the A/V port. I just need them to record with. My capture card is a Roxio HD Pro. Please help!

If you are looking for a component cable that can be used on standard A/V port rather than digital port you won't find one. It cannot be done as GameCube standard A/V port does not have pinout for Pb & Pr. You can get RGB, S-Video, or composite video out of it but not component (Y/Pb/Pr).

Either you buy a composite to component signal converter or find the first GameCube model (DOL-101) and use Nintendo's component cable.

Alternatively can you not just get a backwards compatible Wii and the $3 component cables it tends to have?

Depending upon what mods you have on your GC this could trouble things, however the softmods for the Wii got pretty good towards the end there.

Well my Wii currently has the clicking of death. The disk drive doesn't read disks. So, this is why im asking.
