ROM Hack i messed up big time

on my soul silver i edited my save to have all key items. when i eventually got to cerulean, i saw misty wasn't there and went to the power plant. i talked to the person on the ledge - thing and he took a machine part that wasn't even in my bag. now i can't do the part with the rocket grunt and now i'm stuck with all but that badge and the final one... is there a way to revert my save to where i haven't given the man the machine part yet or to where i can still battle misty to continue the game? Please respond with an answer if you can because i'm too far in the game to restart.

Next time back up your save - you know keep a copy un-edited just in case

idk for sure but if u could walk through walls with the cheat u could prob get to the badge?

This is the kind of crap that happens when you're lazy, and screw with the save in such lame ways. The game is meant to be played; save editing is primarily meant for tweaking, not to encourage mass laziness.

You could always edit the save to get the cascadebadge, except I'm pretty sure the official version of pokésav does not currently support event editing for some reason.

It does, but the option is greyed out, you need Windows Enabler to be able to open it.
