If you don't feel like waiting for 2 hours, you could also download Linux Slax. It is only 200 MB, and with my slow internet it did only cost me 15 minutes to download it, AND boot it.
This is a better explained version of the Live CD thingy.

I already download and install it.It doesn't even read my usb key,on windows they detect it but not on ubutu
Now can someone tell me a way to make it work on windows
I'm on ubutu right now and when I put my usb key in it, nothing, when I put my other usb key, it work, what the ... is that, on windows they know I put a usb key in it but not with utubu
now if nobody can tell me why it is doing this and how to make work just tell me how to delete utubu
Is there another way to keep my saves and format my micro sd card so it will work on windows?

I tried to put another usb key and it worked so why is it doing this??
So.. It worked with another USB thumb drive, right!?
If you could read your files with that other drive off your SD-Card - why the hell are you doing such big efforts to fix the issue with your other drive!?
Since your Supercard DSTWO can read everything just fine I assume your USB Key is fucking bricked, dude. Use the other USB key and throw that faulty one in your garbage can!

edit after your edit: Ubuntu will stay forever - deal with it!

why did you install it? told you to just do a live cd, now ur gonna have to do a live cd of gparted and delete the linux partition on your drive

Edit: and linux will not stay for ever, let me search up an easy guide for you

wait a second, when you installed ubuntu did you set it up to dual boot with windows 7 or did you install it over windows 7?

alright, i've seen searching around the interwebz a bit, try this

Try to run "chckdsk x: /f", without the quotemarks and where x is the drive. I think you have to do it in Safe Mode MSdos [restart, press F8, go for "safe-mode with command prompt"], or when in XP mode: right-click on drive X, open Properties, Tools-tab, click "check now". You'll get message is not possible, only after restart: it will be scheduled at next reboot - just reboot.

More specifically if you don't know how to run it.
Hold the windows Key and press R
Type in "cmd" without the quotes
You should get a black box with letters inside. Type "chkdsk x: /f" without the quotes and replace x with the letter of the usb drive.

Also if you have another Micro SD reader you can try using that.

unbelivable...

You have a faulty USB Card Reader, throw the thing in the trash and get a new one.

But no, you already know nothing about computers, and you actually follow some dudes advice to use linux and install that on your computer when you don't know a single thing about it in order TO UTILIZE A BROKEN READER.

Oh god, i moaned like 3 times reading through this.

If your MicroSD card works fine, but the computer doesn't recognize it when you put it in the reader, then the reader is garbage. Especially if it's one of them crapy 1$ readers that came with the flash card.

Go buy a new USB SD Card Reader. then you plug your microSD into an SD adaptor, and it will work.
Nearly all my flashcard supplied readers are dead. And when they start crapping out, windows will tell you that the drive needs to be formated.

like, no offense or anything. But you need to keep it simple. And i am actually suprised how little people are capable of spotting a Card Reader problem. I knew it when he said that the MicroSD works fine in another reader. Seriously.... I hope for your own good that you are under the age of 12, only this would excuse such naivnes.

yah, use your cell to transfer files to the card or go buy a reader. or an extra card, they usually come with a reader.

DO NOT use your cellphone to transfer files.
Use a proper SD Card Reader.

My phone automatically formats any non-formated card, and if there are files on there that my cell doesn't recognize, it wipes the entire card.

I repeat. Do not use your cellphone to transfer files to your MicroSD!
Go get a proper SD Card Reader.
