Hacking I cant do anything

So my switch is on SX OS 1.4 and system is on 5.1. I cant update my games since its banned. and cant use ChoiDujourNX since my firmware is too low? So basically I have a switch I cant play games on? Please help and thank you

It just boot to a black screen. nothing happens. I was going to try and boot atmostphere but now getting a error about my sd card isnt ready.

ChoiDujourNX requires SX 2.0 or higher, since they updated layeredfs around that time. So update your version of SX (latest is 2.5.3) and you'll be good to go.

how do i do that though? i tried going to the website and just swapping out the files but it wont boot like that.

It should. Download the latest version, extract the download and replace the old boot.dat file on the SD card with the new one.

yeah that is where i cant. whenever i then try to boot with the previous payload. it wont boot

Yeah replace your sx os 1.4 boot.dat which is already old and outdated with ver 2.5.3 that you can download in tx website then run the payload.

when i do that. the sx symbol pops up then it turns off. idk how to fix it

Sounds like mem card issue. When you boot to official firmware does it able to detect your sd card?
