EDIT: Can somebody close this thread? Problem was solved.
The issue that I am currently having to deal with, is getting the FPC ribbon cable (not the CPU), to have the connector facing towards the chip on the left-hand side of the motherboard. However, there is not enough slack for it to reach.
Could I reflow the cable or is there anything else that I could do to get this to work? This is my first time installing a Switch chip.
