Rejoice haskell users, there is a port of hugs98 for the Nintendo DS. Hugs98 is a bytecode interpreter for the functional programming language haskell.

Haskell is evil ! don't try this at home kids !

I'm still mad at them because of the ICFP

Lazybytestream made me lose a day !
I might have to port ocaml now or we (french computer scientists) are going to be laughed at again....

It's a shame though that Haskell is completely useless (to paraphrase Mr. Simon P Jones)
Oh well, still a nice port I guess. Why hugs over ghc?

Yeah, for day to day programming it's not very useful, the libraries suck(its been around since 1985, there is no excuse for this) and trying to write scripts in it is horrendous. Pugs, the perl6 compiler/interpreter is being written entirely in Haskell, kind of and odd choice. With concurrency and multi-core PCs, languages like Haskell and Erlang could become popular soon.
