    My contract runs out next year in june(ish) hopefully by then the 3D will be worn in (you know, never get the first batch of technology it never stands up to the later models) and there'll be some very powerful phones out with 3D on offer for contract [​IMG]

    3D phone? Gimmick much? Also it'd be a dual core Scorpion processor (Snapdragon is the system-on-a-chip).

    this would be sort of silly on a phone
    if you switch from portrait to landscape then you'd lose the effect

    Nintendo said fingerprints and smudges distorted the 3D effect, I wonder how HTC handles this. Beyond that, I have to wonder what the point is, there isn't much 3D content to begin with.

    EDIT: Also, the 3D pics/video are a nice novelty, but can only be viewed on the screen (practically speaking) making it ultimately not that useful beyond the "ooooh+ ahh " factor

    I expect all phones to eventually adopt 3D just like they have touch screens.
