Hi there guys i was wondering if there was a way to update my .xci games or repackage them with updates... i do not wish to use .nsp files

How would I update my .xci with the latest dlc/updates

Thank you for reading hope i can get some help

I think you would still install the update/dlc nsp, using something like Rom menu. DLC too but DO NOT install dlc with tin foil.

Edit: newer versions of tin foil can install dlc.

Well the only way to update your game is by using .NSP files. I recommend using DevMenu in airplane mode to do so. I've been doing this for 2 weeks and haven't got banned yet. JUST MAKE SURE YOU STAY IN AIRPLANE MODE WHILE DOING ALL THAT!

Hi mates,

Do I only need to get the latest NSP update if a title has more than 1 update available?

I think it might be odd if a title had to have each cumulative update installed, but wouldn't be the first time something was odd around here.

As an example, as of this post, I believe Zelda BoTW has 11 update NSP files available (not DLC).
v0 - the base game
v65536
v131072
v196608
v262144
v327680
v393216
v458752
v524288
v589824
v655360
v720896

If you had the XCI game, or even the NSP base game installed, do you just need to get the single v720896 NSP to get the latest update and go from there?

Just install the latest update. No need to go through every update file
