Hi! so I bought this Wii from marketplace, and when i turned it on it just showed the preloader menu. What should i do?

Are there any apps that will let me convert or transfer my PAL Xenoblade save from my SD card to my Wii? Save game manager doesn't work, so I'm assuming I need to convert the file to US region...anyone know how? Thanks.
