Homebrew How to Save in VNDS?

Well, either I'm just dumb to this homebrew or I'm just missing something, but I cannot figure out how to save progress. I'm running M3 Sakura 1.34 and the latest version of VNDS.

I've looked at the readmes and such but apparently the author feels as if everyone knows how to save by default. Any help would be appreciated.

Hold R+Y, or touch one of the arrow icons on the bottom screen. I can't remember which one was save and which was load, but yeah you should be able to figure it out.

R+Y is forward to next decision and I've touched everything at the bottom, and still nothing.

Ah sorry, I meant R+X.

R+X is save. L+X is load.

Also, on the bottom screen, at the very bottom you should see a light bulb, a speaker, another speaker, then a Down Arrow, then an Up Arrow, and lastly an M next to the Day/Time.

The Down Arrow is save, the Up Arrow is load.

Oh ok, I coulda swore I hit those arrow keys, but I guess using a toothpick didn't really help matters.
