Hi! I am new here, but i want to know how to read Xbox one s eMMC/NAND. I bought this from a second hand guy and it came without the disc drive. I know that on the eMMC is the CDkey, but for that you need to connect test points to certain places on the motherboar. A tutorial is online but for an Xbox one fat. That’s it. Thank you!

search online for Xbox One S schematics (they are available), once you get the pdf file, look for eMMC page, you'll find the test points you need to read it if you know what you're doing. Not sure that getting CDkey will get you anywhere, i don't think it's possible to read/write to Microsoft BD-ROM Controller IC chip

It’s a standard eMMC chip that you can read like an SD card on certain pins, but it will be pointless as the key file is of course encrypted and there is NOTHING you can do to make it work at this point.

I have asked chat GPT and with an adapter from aliexpress with J-Runner you could theoreticly read the NAND

ChatGPT should NEVER be used for technical how-tos, it pulls things out of thin air when there is no answer.

You CAN read the eMMC, not with jrunner but with any programmers that can read eMMC chips.

That does not give you any possibility of pairing a new drive, so the question is pointless.

I have asked chat GPT, and with J-Runner, you can read the eMMC or NAND and get the DVDkey. In theory it doesn’t matter if it is encrypted

There isn’t anything online because it’s not possible.

You can read it just fine, in fact it’s already been partially documented at:
https://github.com/Randname666/xboxoneresearch-wiki/blob/master/xbox-boot-file-system.md

However what you are asking will not succeed as there is no way to beat the encryption and integrity protection.

They are THE SAME, you can read them easily but you can do NOTHING to them, why are you so stubborn and refuse to believe everybody here?

If you can’t find anything online, where do you think chatgpt got the idea from? It DOESN’T. When ChatGPT doesn’t have a source in its knowledge, it invents nonsense stuff.
