ROM Hack How to patch with bspatch

Hey there, I've had some experience with patching my NDS games with trainers in the past but I wanted to try the Legacy Metroid Prime +4 patch (not for Wi-fi use) but its in BDF format. I understand that bspatch has to be used but I'm not familiar on how to use it. Can some one give me a hand with using this. Thanks

Thanks just one slight question before I go for it, Mine will go on a R4 will the last thing I type in have to be 'what?'_r4.bdf?

Nah, the last bit is the name of the bdf patch name. My patch just happene dto have _SC or _M3 at the end.
