Just wondered how to do it now that Nintendo have got rid of Nintendo Letters (or what ever it was called)...

Is it possible?

You can sort of do it with Miiverse but those are public posts. There's no way I know of to send private messages to people anymore.

Nintendo wants you to use other services like mobile phones and PS Vita to message your friends! Who needs their device when you can use one provided by competitor! :D

Just like to point out I was given warning when I posted my Steam nickname on Miiverse. They don't want anyone to message anything to each other via their service. All the public messages are going trough heavy moderation and cencorship.

A more important question:

How to massage friends sitting on the 3DS?

Bit if a shame. I would like to message my friends who play the ds on the ds. Bit of a Shame.

Wat.

You could use some baby oil and light up some incense and lie them down on a massage table and then quickly grab your 3DS which they were sitting on and run out.

Since the 3DS has a built in browser, you can use many online services (such as facebook) to communicate with each other on the 3DS. The Facebook mobile site works very well on the 3DS and I find that many of my friends use the facebook messaging service.

That's...poorly worded. How are they using the 3DS browser for Facebook if they don't own a 3DS?

my bad, but I think there's better ways to point out my mistake. I meant that you can use online messaging service such as facebook messenger on the 3DS via the built in browser. Even with my "poor wordings", I think you should be able to get the point.
