I'm sure there are numerous substitues you can use. Such as a brash used to clean the dishes

I have a dishwasher, also I use a sponge or rag/cloth for dishes if I have to go manual.

Mind you there are not those abominations known as low flow toilets around here so clogging the toilet takes some doing.
