Hacking How to Load BootMI

Hello,

I am writing this post because I don´t know how to do something that I think is really easy for you guys

A friend of mine, using his SDCARD, has cracked my wii; everything is working fine:

- HomeBrew
- Load Games using usb hard disk
- AMIGA & Megadrive emulators

The only thing that it´s not working using usb hard disk is Monter Hunter 3 , but its working using dvd

This friend of mine has taken his SDCARD to her sister and she formated it

Now I am not able to load bootmii to backup my wii again ( safety reason )

Anyone know how to do this ?
( I don´t want to install again the crack )

get hackmii installer and make a backup from there

you can probably follow the complete softmod guide untill it tells you to select set up your sd for bootmii in the hackmii installer.

Anyone with a NTSC WII, version 3.2, could send to me this filles:

/bootmii
/bootmii/armboot.bin - Starlet-resident code (MINI) -- this loads ppcboot.elf
/bootmii/ppcboot.elf - BootMii shell - this is the GUI that is displayed
when BootMii runs.
/bootmii/bootmii.ini - BootMii shell configuration file. See below
/install.log - installation log. After you install
BootMii,
please email the contents of this file to
[email protected] so we can track any issues that emerge.

Just download the Hackmii installer, put it on SD card, run it, and choose the 'Prepare SD Card' option.

man ITS NOT working;

any other idea?

remember i´ve lost the origianl files i have a blank sd card with hackmii installed

What do you mean by "it's not working", I just did the same thing on my wii earlier today and it prepared the SD fine.

He means he doesn't have the apps folder. Here's what to do.
1) Download the hackmii installer
2) On your sd card create a folder called "apps" in the directory
3) Within the "apps" folder create a folder called "Hackmii Installer"
4) Put the boot.dol in there
5) Load up HBC and launch that
6) Go to prepare SD card and voilà you have the bootmii files

So the directory should be like so: SD:/apps/Hackmii Installer/boot.dol

Shouldn't really need to do that. Bannerbomb should be fine.

Well he said he doesn't have bannerbomb, and he has the HBC so that's probably his best bet, no?
