Recently I decided to take a look inside the filesystem of one of my wii games to get the soundtrack in BRSTM format to convert to more common audio formats, and i noticed that most all the files were of the ".fsys" format. I would assume that this is simply a generic format for all files not explicitly identified, but is there any way to know what sort of data it is by investigating the contents of it, and if so, how might I go about doing so?

FSYS? Is it one of the Pokémon games or another game developed by Genius Sonority? If so, there exists a FSYS dumper for these. Otherwise, it's probably a different format with the same name.
