I downloaded it, but it didn't have a setup.exe file.... where do I get it?????
did you download a .img file? You'll have to extract all files from all floppy images ("image.img") to a single folder.. Try winimage (it's not freeware, but you can try for one month).

Okay I extracted the img files and and installed it fine, I edited the hex but when I tried to load Windows, it wouldn't work, it came to what I am guessing is the start up screen (blue screen with Microsoft on it) and nothing happened, I even tried pressing every button and nothing worked......

there should have been a confirmation or some little window, and you just needed to scroll the screen to the middle in order to see it. Try the directionals and the middle "o" on the touch screen.
L and R shoulders scroll left and right too.

Well, I just downloaded the latest version of DSx86, deleted windows and got the files to install it again, installed it, took away the ms-dos check and it now works....

No, im not. I cant for the life of Brian find win 2.03 and i seen youtube vids of win 3o.a playing with dsx86 and somebody mentioned 3.11...

6. go to offset 0xA926 and replace 76 with EB (this removes the MSDOS version check)

Call me a dumb ass but i cant find this line. Yes, i got 2.03 (finally) and opened up win200.bin with hex editor.

You can put a bat file called 4start.bat into the 4dos folder and it should automatically boot when you start dsx86. You can do it by opening notepad, typing " cd windows
Win" then press save as in file, then go to the 4dos folder, select where it says text document and set it to all files. Then in the bar above type 4start.bat

You should be able to, but without virtual 8086 mode (386 protected mode emulation) you won't have much conventional memory left and won't be able to multitask very well. For multitasking of DOS apps (or even loading a dos game and keeping a walkthrough up in notepad) on dsx86 you will have to wait for DesqView to be supported as DesqView can run apps/games completely out of EMS. In fact, once DesqView is supported it would be best to configre dsx86 to emulate 128K of conventional memory and 2MB of EMS instead of 640K conventional and 1.5MB EMS.
